A few adjustments here and there, and I've FINALLY got a demo that can be played from a webpage.
Currently, I'm not sure if I'll keep the stun mechanic. If I do, I'd have to balance by one or more of:
- Enabling the CPU-controlled cars to stun the player
- Restricting the use of the stun to 2-3 times per lap
- Assess a time penalty for each time an opponent is stunned
