How's THIS for a demo?
Using little more than free audiovisual assets and considerable C# code of my own, I've put together a demonstration for a somewhat odd first-person shooter.
I built this in an effort to test my own capabilities as a Unity developer - I haven't decided what direction to go with TeleBlastura. The title is a play on "telebasura" - the Spanish expression for trashy or dumpster-fire TV programs (as if the graphics didn't hint at that). I am, however, certain that the mouse-look part is more sensitive than it probably should be, and a ready-to-market version would include offensive and defensive powerups., to say nothing of more areas.
It's something of a curiosity that Unity's Universal Rendering Pipeline yielded a better frame rate than the default renderer - or at least on a 4GB Celeron SoC-based system. I suspect, though, that the URP figures into the undue size of the ZIP files
For those with the patience and disk space (quarter-GB download; 3/4-GB disk footprint) , give it a shot, and drop some insights on me after you've dropped a few IQ-sapping Trash TVs.
